Fathers Day Freebie Printable

Its almost time for FATHERS DAY! If youre anything like me youre just getting used to the kids being home from school. Why not try a fun project with them for dad? Create something fun and memorable to surprise him this year with this great FREEBIE. Its a TIE-RIFFIC FATHERS DAY FREEBIE PRINTABLE SET!

The set includes a cute tie-shaped "Happy Fathers Day" banner, tie-shaped centerpiece signs, and cupcake topper sized ties, too. And best of all.... there are designs for DADs, GRANDDADs and STEPDADs, too. I hope you all love them!

CENTERPIECES: Hot glue the tie printables to a wooden bbq skewer (found in the grocery store or dollar store) and stick them in a piece of styrofoam inside of a bucket or jar. Add a some brown shredded paper, a twine bow youve got a quick and simple centerpiece!

CUPCAKE TOPPERS: Hot glue the cupcake toppers or sandwich toppers to toothpicks for a cute display. You can even make these MAPLE BACON CUPCAKES here -- how fun is that for dad!

BOTTLE GIFTS: Coke, beer, root beer.... whatever your guy prefers, just wrap the bottles in the printable decorative paper that comes in the freebie set. Fathers Day Round Up

Well, its the week of Fathers Day. Are you ready? I always want to be ready more in advance than I am, and make it the most special day we can for dad. But, that never seems to happen. My boys and I have even had all weekend to get ready without dad here (hes visiting our sweet nephew, Ben in Arkansas), but somehow we havent got a thing done. Actually, I know why we havent. My boys arent exactly keen on going to any kind of store these days. Its summer vacation, theres no time for shopping!

Thank goodness for Pinterest! At least I can "shop" around for ideas at home, and then hopefully Ill get a chance to run to a store or two for supplies when my husband gets home, which may be awhile. He used some buddy passes (you only get on the flight if there are any seats available after the plane is loaded) to fly there and back. He made it to Arkansas just fine, but is stuck in Memphis right now. He was supposed to be home last night. He, and my brother-in-law, are now hoping to catch a flight in a few hours to Denver, and then on to Salt Lake City. But there arent great chances of getting on to Salt Lake, so they may just rent a car and drive the 8 hours home form Denver to Utah. What an adventure! But so worth it to see Ben!

Anyway, here are some of the ideas Ive found over the past few weeks that have caught my eye. We want dad to feel as special as he can on his day, and these are all perfect for just that!
